Couillardville - A party was given at the F. Carey home in honor of their daughter Myrtle, whose birthday was last Saturday.

Gaylord Goddard, student at the state university, arrived home from Madison last Saturday morning for the summer vacation.

Miss Inez Waldron came home Monday evening from Niagara, Wis. Where she had been employed in the public schools during two seasons past.

Jacob and Harry Fridstein and their mother, Mrs. S. Fridstein, of Marinette, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lipschutz in this city.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Krahn and family of Kaukauna, were guests over Sunday of Dr. and Mrs. G.W. Krahn at their summer cottage at Kelly Lake

Miss Josephin Volk, who has been teaching at Niagara, Wis., the past two years, arrived home last Saturday Night.

Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Goggins, accompanied by Misses Aurelia O’Neill and Vernice Mc Curdie, motored to Green Bay, Sunday.

A very pretty christening occurred at the home of Leo Marquardt last Friday evening, when their daughter was named, Bertha Winnefred.

Misses Mildred and Ruth Boyce left Tuesday for Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and yesterday boarded the steamer Octorara for Buffalo, N.Y.  They will visit Paul Riner at Niagara Falls and then plan on going from there by boat down Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence river and will traverse the Lake George and Lake Champlain districts.  They will also visit relatives at Chestertown, Saratoga, Potsdam and New York City.
