This is the second Kelly Brook school building which was built
of brick in 1899.  To the right in the background is an early church, now gone. It stood beside the Kelly Brook Cemetery, 7852 County Road K and was later used as a community center until it was demolished.

I took this of Kelly Lake's new airstrip.  It was built the same summer as mine by the same heavy equipment school in 1965.   Foster Haniford was running the Oconto Airport and on a nice day he would say, meet me at Kelly Lake for lunch.  We had the same kind of airplane and we would park them by the Round Roof and have lunch (center right).
