Wendy S. (Weiler) Seidl, 42, Lakewood, WI, died as a result of an automobile accident on November 9, 2000.

Wendy was born in Kaukauna on April 14, 1958, to Jack and Colleen A. (Hoheisel) Weiler. Wendy graduated from Kaukauna High School. She lived in that area most of her life but her heart was in the Lakewood area from the time she was a young girl. And so she finally moved to the Lakewood area in 1996. She was a member and a firefighter trainee of the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Dept. She was a bartender at the PourHaus in Lakewood. If there was a local benefit or fund-raiser, Wendy was sure to be involved. She enjoyed deer hunting very much.

Wendy is survived by her fiancé, Donald Scheuerman, Lakewood; one daughter, Dana Seidl) at home; two sons, Ryan Mahony, at home; Dan DeCoster, Townsend; one stepdaughter, Stacy Scheuerman, Lakewood; one brother, Chris (Terry) Weiler, Tomahawk; two nieces, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Colleen Weiler; and a sister Mary Kay.

Visitation was at the Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno. Funeral service was Monday, November 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Lakewood, with Father Stanley Browne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers included Chief Raoul Schottky , Asst. Chief Dave Szkowny, John Warden, Randy Sackett, Greg Thomson, Pam Warden Ginger Szkowny and Chris Thomson.

The family wishes that memorials be sent to the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Dept.
