Gillett, Wisconsin--Mr. William Victor Raatz passed away in a Green Bay hospital on July 16, 1985. William had a heart problem and died following surgery. Williams parents were Henry Raatz and Ernestine Muth Schindel Raatz of the Town of Oconto Falls. He was born on August 4, 1933 at Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. He worked in the logging industry at Athelstane for many years. Then he moved first to Oconto Falls and later to Gillett where he drove milk truck for several cheese factories. His mother and father preceded him in death along with one half sister Mrs. Oscar (Olga) Mayer and one half brother, Otto Schindel of Gillett. He is survived by the following half brothers and sisters: Mrs. Leo (Lillian) Schwittay of Marinette; Gustav Schindel of Oconto Falls; Adolph Schindel of Morgan; Mrs. Chester (Anna) Wirtz of Morgan; Mrs. Anthony (Frieda) La Brosse of Oconto Falls; and Mrs. Wilfred (Martha) Falash of Spruce. Funeral services will be held at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Wisconsin on Friday, July 19, 1985. The Rev. Karl Diemer will officiate and buriel will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Oconto Falls, Wis.
