He was born October 2, 1915 in the Town of Maple Valley to Fred and Louise (Trapp) Sieckman and attended Clovernook Elementary School. Walter lived all his life on the family farm which he owned and operated before retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church, Cty. A, Spruce for many years.
Survivors are one brother, Elmer (Bernice) Sieckman, Green Bay; one nephew, Tom (Debra) Sieckman, Green Bay; three great-nephews and one great-niece, Mark and Eric Sieckman, both of Green Bay; Ryan Sieckman and Loreen Sieckman, both of Chicago; special friend, Marilyn Zeitler, Gillett. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lorraine Zimmer, and one nephew, Robert Sieckman. Friends may call at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls from 4 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 20. Visitation will continue at St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church, Cty. A, Spruce after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Funeral services 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with The Rev. Ryan J. Landwehr officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
