Town Line - village of Gillett 
July 1941-  

Wesley Scutt, 49, died at the Veterans home at Wood, Wis. After being confined to the hospital there for six weeks. He was born in Town Line July 25, 1892, and moved to the village of Gillett. Later he farmed in New York State until he was drafted in the World War (I).

Following his return to Wisconsin after the armistice, Mr. Scutt was a mail carrier out of Gillett for 16 years, up to the time of his death.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Harlan Metzler, Oconto Falls, and Marian, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Jewell, Gillett, Mrs. A.G. Kingberg, Centralia, Wash., and two brothers, Frank, Seattle, Wash., and Harvery, Yakima, Wash.
