Schnese services.

Funeral services for William P. Schnese, 80, 1208 Main St., Junction City will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Junction City. The Rev. John A. Wisneski will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stiles.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home, Junction City and on Thursday from 9 A.M. until service time. St. Michael's Parish rosary service will be at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name.

Mr. Schnese died Sunday, January 29,1995 at St. Michael's Hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 23.

He was born June 16, 1914, in Green Bay, a son of William and Emma Schnese. He was married to Lorraine J. Matheys on June 22, 1940, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stiles. She survives.

The couple farmed in the town of Stiles, Oconto County and then in Oconto Falls. He then became manager of Oconto County Cooperative, Oconto Falls before moving to Junction City in 1969 where he managed Dairyman's Cooperative until his retirement in 1976. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors besides his wife include two sons Keith(Sally), Wild Rose, and Kevin, Junction City; three daughters, Donna (Falton) Fischer, Wausau, Linda (Kenn) Block, Tucson, Ariz., and Sandra (David) Bersie, Peoria, IL; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, infant daughter and two brothers. Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto. Prayer services were held. Mass of Chrisitian Burial was conducted Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church at Stiles with Rev. Carl Steiner officiating.
