Graveside rites will be conducted at the Catholic Cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Runkel was born in Oconto Feb. 2, 1897. He was a veteran of World War I. About 3o years ago he moved to Illinois, where he was in the Insurance business.
Besides his wife, Hazel, he is survived by a son, Paul, attending Lake Forest College, ILL.; two brothers, William, Oconto, and Roland, West Bend, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. George Classon, Weyauwega.
