He was born to the late Milton and Eva (Bitters) Cain April 8, 1930 in Oconto. He graduated from Oconto High School. He married the former Donna Koch September 17, 1952 in Oconto.
The couple lived in the Oconto and GreenBay area all of their lives. Bill was involved in real estate investing for many years and was also a painting contractor for over 35 years. He owned and operated Oconto Furniture and Warehousing for several years and was a Miller Beer distributor and also had a coin vending machine business in the Oconto area.
Bill is survived by his wife, Donna; three sons, James (Sandy) Cain, Oconto; Dennis Cain, Florida; Randy Cain, Indiana; one grandson, Travis (Suzie) Cain, Oconto; and one great-granddaughter, Briana. Also survived by his faithful dog "Pepper." He was preceded in death by one son, Richard, and one sister, Helen.
Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, Sunday April 2, 2000 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiating. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
