RACINE - William Laduron, 85, passed away Nov. 8, 1999, at McAllen Medical Center, Mission, Texas. He was born Jan. 6, 1914, at Abrams, to the late William and Ida (Pingel) Laduron. His parents preceded him in death in 1966. William moved to Racine, in 1922, where he met and married Vernice Bock.

They had one son, Allen Lee (Michele), Oconto; one grandson, Robert Allen Platteville; and one step-grandson, Christopher Benser, Duluth, Minn. Other children from a previous marriage include, Georgia (Fred) Winters, Marshfield; Mary (Wayne) Griesing, Milwaukee; Vernon (Geri) Laduron, Wisconsin Rapids; Gerard (Judy) Laduron, Crivitz.

He was employed for 20 years at Eisendrath Tanning and ten years at Western Publishing, Racine, as a machinist. He also operated a tree farm in Oconto in his spare time. He was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Racine. After retiring he spent five months a year at Oleander Mobile Park, Mission, Texas and the other seven months between his home in Racine and his mobile home on the Oconto River. He loved fishing, berrying, hunting and dancing until his health failed.

The funeral was held Sat., Nov. 13 at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, with the Rev. David Boettcher officiating. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery
