Wildfred 'Jack' Meyer, 90, of Green Bay, died Thursday, March 23, 2000 at the home of his daughter and
son-in-law, Judy and David Hallgren of 804 Croix St., Negaunee, Michigan. He was born September 10, 1909 in Oconto, WI to the
late Leonard and Mary Young Meyer. He graduated from Oconto High School in the Class of 1927. Jack was emplloyed by the
CMSTP&P Railroads from 1934 until his retirement in 1972. He was a life-long resident of the Green Bay area and was a member of
St. Jude Parish in Green Bay. Survivors include two daughters, Judy David Hallgren, Negaunee, MI, Jean Mick Jorgens, Holland, MI;
four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Leola McKee, Oconto; two sisters-in-law, Doris Meyer and Cecile Hanson.
He
was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn; his parents; two brothers, Orville and Buss Meyer; one grandson,
Darrian James.
Friends called at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay. The Mass of Christian burial was 11 a.m.
Monday Central Time at St. Jude Catholic Church, Green Bay, with the Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial in Fort Howard Memorial
Park.
