Wanda Zellmer, 93, Suring, formerly of Gillett, passed away Friday morning, March 2, 2001, at Woodland Village Nursing Horne, Suring, where she had resided for the past three years.

She was born February 2, 1908, in Debechna, Poland, to the late Fredrick and Louise (Hammermeister) Glor. On November 12, 1925, Wanda married Edward Zellmer, in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death June 22, 1983. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Gillett, and the WELCA. She was a former member of the church quilting group, and the St. John's Nursing Home Visitation Group.

Wanda is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Bette, Watertown; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Robert Bubolz, Green Bay; one sister, Emma Sanfelippo, Orlando, FL; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Mitzie; one daughter, Shirley Frank; two grandsons, Kenneth and Greg Frank; one great-grandson, Guy Zellmer; one brother, William Glor; and one sister, Olga Glor.

Friends called at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, Monday after 10 a.m. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis N. Nelson officiating. Interment in St. John Riverside Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Oconto Falls. A memorial fund has been established for St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Gillett, and the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Association.
