Wencil E. Pawlak 21yrs, were held at the Sacred Heart Church at Spurce on Monday Dec. 17, with Rev. B. L. Platta officating. Burial took place in the Spurce Catholic cemetery. Wencil was born March 6,1913 to Stanley and Josephine Klimczk in Spurce.

He died at St. Michael's Hospital at Stevens Point on Dec. 14th. A ruptured appendix was the cause of his death. He was taken ill on the 10th of Dec. He was the son of Sanley and Josephien [Klimiczk] Pawlak of Kelly Brook, and had recently gone to Stevens Point where he was employed on a dairy farm.

Besides his parents, he survived by his brothers and sisters; Adam of Lena; Martha of Milwaukee; Mike Gertrude, Regina, Helen, Edward, Harry, Lucille, Genevieve, of Kelly Brook, and Mrs [John] Francis Lipinski of the state of Oregon, all were present at the time of rites except Mrs Lipinski. Out of town relatives at the rites were Mr.and Mrs Walter Miller, Mr.and Mrs John Burjarski, Mr and Mrs. John Miller of Green Bay; Miss Anna Burjarski and Henry Burjararski of the town of Eaton, Brown Couunty and Nick and Norbert Klimacak of Milwaukee. A brother Henry in 1924 at age 6 months preceded him in death. The rites were largely attended as the young man and his family are held in high esteem. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in the loss of a beloved son and brother.
