William Yudes(1932 - 2016)

Yudes, William

William "Bill" C. Yudes 83, Oconto beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed into the hands of his Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday August 9, 2016 at The Woodlands of Oconto. He was born November 25, 1932 in Oconto to the late William and Mary (Janovsky) Yudes. On July 24, 1954 Bill married Shelby Semrau at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lena. He worked at Oconto Brewing for 4 years as a truck driver, he then worked for the Oconto Police Dept for 3 years, drove truck for Tisch and Drews for over 30 years and also drove school bus for the Oconto District for many years. Bill loved camping, cards, fishing and the Packers. Surviving are his Loving wife of 62 years Shelby, two daughters Betty Yudes, Oconto; Lori Miller, Green Bay; one son David (Donna) Yudes, Oconto; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly and his beloved dog Sammi. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Debra, infant granddaughter Alysha, one son-in-law Jeff Miller, one brother Robert, one sister Betty Bullis and 2 infant sisters Beverly and Nancy. Family will greet relatives and friends from 10 am until 1 pm Monday at Oconto Gospel Chapel. Memorial Service 1 pm Monday August 15, 2016 at the Church with Rev. Peter Dorn officiating. The Jones-Modrow-Young Oconto American Legion Post #74 will conduct Military Rites. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto is assisting the family.
