Mr. William C. "Bud" Pagel, Jr., 90, Little Suamico, was received into the Lord's presence, Wednesday evening, March 20, 2002 with his family at his side.

Mr. Pagel was born June 4, 1911 in Little Suamico, one of four sons born to William and Martha (Schulke) Pagel. On June 21, 1941, he was united in marriage to the former Leitha Planke at Brookside. The couple resided in the Town of Little Suamico all of their life, where Bud farmed the family farm until retirement in the late 80's.

Bud was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Little Suamico and the local Lutheran Brotherhood Branch. He greatly enjoyed watching Packer Games and attending the Senior Center at Little Suamico where he played cards and socialized.

He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Leitha; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean Ann and Jay Daul, Oconto Falls; three grandchildren, Amanda Daul, Oshkosh, Jon Daul, Madison, and Alyssa Daul, Little Suamico; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Arlington and Adella Pagel, Little Suamico; Grant and Sally Pagel, Abrams; Leland and Clarice Pagel, Pulaski; Audrey Sot, Abrams; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randy on August 23, 1981. The family greeted relatives and friends at St. John's Lutheran Church, Little Suamico from 11 a.m. until 2:45 p.m., Sunday, March 24. Service of Christian Burial was held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Church. The Rev. Alan Schaffmeyer officiating. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Little Suamico.

Bud's family would like to thank the entire staff of Sharpe Care and Dr. Wittman for the excellent care provided to him.
