William (Bill) Cleven

William (Bill) Cleven, 39, of Gillett, died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in a Madison Hospital. The son of David Cleven and the late Ruth (Van Lanen) Cleven was born July 22, 1960, in Green Bay.

He was a graduate of Seymour High School. Bill worked at Packerland Packing Company for 12 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his father, David; two children, Trista and Nathan Cleven; his fiancée, Flo Buffalo and her children, Michelle, Michael, Richard and Corey Buffum; his six siblings and their spouses, Cynthia (David) Boreen, Green Bay; Diane (Gary) Stephani, Waukesha; Bonnie (James) Worlund, Green Bay; Keith (Judy) Cleven, Cedarburg; Christian Cleven and his fiancée Darcy, Oneida; Jason Cleven and his special friend Kerren, Menominee, Mich.; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Cleven.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home, 305 North Tenth St., De Pere, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (today). Parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida, after 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. George Lenzer officiating. Burial to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, DePere.
