She lived most of her life in Appleton before moving to Lakewood in 1974. She was a homemaker who assisted her husband with his real estate business.
A member of St. John Lutheran Church in Townsend, she was also a member of the Wisconsin Historical Society, active in the Audubon Society and was instrumental, along with her husband, in starting the Lakes Country Library in Lakewood.
Prior to coming to Lakewood, she worked at Conkey's Book store in Appleton and also at the Majestic and Draper hotels in Oconomowoc.
She was born Dec. 25, 1905, in Appleton, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Louis Tiedt. She married Herman Rodencal Sept. 19, 1934, in Appleton.
Besides her husband, she was a guardian of two surviving nieces, Mrs. Richard (Ellen) Johnson of Oconomowoc and Lois Poppe of New York, N.Y.; one nephew, Fred (Tina) Poppe of Appleton; three other nieces, Marjorie Roggan of Berlin, Wis., Mrs. Lymen (Faith) Rodencal of St Louis, and nephews; Hariey (Ella) Rodencal and Gordon (Gretchen) Rodencal of Fremont, and Marvin (Ruth) Rodencal of Appleton, and a great niece, Claire Poppe.
Visitation was at St. John Lutheran Church, with services there Wednesday in charge, of the Rev. Gerald Behting. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton,
