Viola M. Trepanier COOK

Mrs. Viola M. Cook, 80, Oconto resident, died Saturday morning, Oct. 9, 1999 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oconto. Born in Oconto Dec. 17, 1918, Viola was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Delia (Bloucher) Trepanier. She married William Cook Sr. on November 25, 1937 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Oconto, and he preceded her in death December 29, 1997. Viola was a member of the Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto. She was an avid Packer fan and could talk with the "best of them" about the Packers. Vi loved very much being with her family and also enjoyed reading.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Corrine Moynihan and her husband Patrick, Sr. Ashwaubenon, and William Cook Jr. and his special friend Debby Kaetterhenry, Oconto; by a brother Raulph Trepanier, Oconto; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Viola was preceded in death by a brother Benjamin, and by two sisters, Clare Herald, and Eleanore Albright.

The family greeted relatives and friends at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, October 12. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. The Rev. Fr. David Ruby officiated. Internment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, assisted the family.
