Verda M. LeMay, 69, 407 Arbutus Ave., Oconto, passed away, Oct. 20, 1998, at the Oconto Memorial Hospital. Verda was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Oconto, to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Courchaine) Plude. She married James H. LeMay. He preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1979.
Survivors include five daughters, LuAnn Kuter, Oconto; Kathy (Frank) Walechka, Carney, Mich.; Mary Beth Woodworth, Green Bay; Peggy (Taylor) Queen, Crandon; Crystal (Bill) Hebert, Oconto; three sons, James LeMay Jr., Oconto; Rick (Carissa) LeMay, Peshtigo; Brian (Wendy) LeMay, Oconto; two brothers, Lester (Patricia) Plude, Sussex; Donald (Betty) Plude, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Friends and relatives may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday
Memorial servlce will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ted Conover officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
