Victor Nellis, 53, town of Stiles resident, died Saturday afternoon of a heart ailment. The body was taken to the Gagnon funeral home Oconto, and funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Patricks Catholic church, Stiles, with the Rev. M.J. Fetco officiating. Interment took place in the Stiles cemetery. Mr. Nellis was born at Franklin, Wis. Nov. 6, 1886.

He is survived by his widow, Josie; four sons, Theodore, Victor Jrl, Harold and Lloyd, all of Stiles; two daughters, Mrs. Owen Hacklebert, Oconto, and Marie Nellis, at home; a brother, Paul; six sisters, Mrs. Lillian Melasette, Green Bay; Mrs. Bessie Jadin of Casco; Mrs. Joseph Lardinos, Champion; Mrs. Jos. Delvaure, Luxemburg, Mrs. Louis Renier, Lena, and Miss Lucy Nellis.
