Mrs. Virginia DeHut Passes Away Sunday

Mrs. Virginia De Hut, 79, lifetime resident of Oconto County, passed away at the home of her son, Claude, in Oshkosh, where she had gone to visit Sunday. Death was due to an heart attack. Funeral services were held this morning at 9:00 o'clock at the St. Peters' church with the Rev. J. J. Looze officiating. Pall bearers were; Henry and Joseph Kinsinger, Louis Courtoise, Ernest Bourassa, Isadore La Combe and Allie Merline. Gagnons funeral home was in charge of funeral arrangements. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.

The deceased was born Virginia Longrie April 12, 1961 (1861?), in the town of Pensaukee. She came to Oconto seventy-three years ago. Her husband, Joseph, preceded her in death September 2, 1929.

Survivors are two sons, Charles, Oconto, and Claude, Oshkosh, three daughters, Mrs. George Prochaska, Mrs. John Forgie and Mrs. Gustav Ruelle, all of Oconto, one sister Mrs. Anna Page, Menominee, Mich., one brother Louis Longrie, Oconto, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Epavier and daughter from the town of Oconto.
