Mrs. Schorejs had been employed as a cashier at Fruitport Foods for 40 years until retiring in 2001. She was a longtime devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church - Spring Lake and active member of St. Mary's Rosary & Altar Society/ Womens Club. She was active in the St. Mary's School and also did much church service work through the years. She also enjoyed gardening, reading & baking.
SURVIVORS 3 sons, Michael of Fruitport, David (Diana) of FL & Raymond (Sherry) of TX; 1 daughter, Pamela Monk of Grand Haven; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Edith (Roger) Patzer of Chicago, IL; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1983. SERVICE Thursday, May 2, 2002, 2:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Spring Lake with Fr. Tony Vainavicz officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a vigil service at 8:30 PM at Clock Funeral Home-Fruitport. MEMORIAL: St. Mary's Catholic Church.
