Virginia L. Schmidt, 56, of 416 2nd St., Oconto, died Friday November 17, 2000 at her home. Virginia was born August 16, 1944 in Oconto to the late Ralph and Lorena (Marek) Hall. Virginia worked at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, Oconto, as a CNA for over fifteen years until she retired in April of 1999. Virginia loved watching and caring for all of her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by two daughters Stephanie Schmidt and special friend Curt Porath, Oconto; Kristine (Marty) Saffran, Abrams; two sons Craig (Michele) Schmidt, Oconto; Randy (Penny) Schmidt, Oconto; one brother Ralph (Marlene) Hall, Green Bay; and four grandchildren Taylor, Megan, Michael and Adam Schmidt.

The family received relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday November 20 2000, Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto, from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Thomas Beck officiating.
