Funeral Monday Morning
Thomas Young, Town of Oconto, Died Last Friday Morning

Thomas Young passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Young, in the town of Oconto, at 2:00 last Friday morning of typhoid fever. He contracted the disease in Escanaba, Mich., about 6 weeks ago, but was thought to be convalescing and his brother, Samuel, went after him and brought him home last Tuesday afternoon. He took a change for the worse on Thursday and gradually sank until the end came.

Deceased was born in Oconto in March 1870 and had spent most of his life here in the county. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Frank and Samuel and one sister, Miss Adelia Young. The funeral was held at 9:00 Monday morning from St. Joseph’s church, Rev. Fr. Seibach officiating with internment in the Catholic cemetery.
