He was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Laona, and was raised in the Town of Spruce. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War 11 and the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Tom was employed as a supervisor at Scott Paper Co. in Oconto Falls for many years. Following his retirement from Scott Paper, he worked at Jones Funeral Service.
Tom will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Ramona (Landin) Tessier; his three loving daughters to whom he was a "Great Dad", Sandra (Ernest) Darby of Southport, N.C., Nancy (Matt) Preston of Minneapolis, and Leigh Ann (Dennis) Broetzman of Kelly Lake; two grandsons, Brent and Bart Broetzman; three step-granddaughters, Kim (Cory) Evraets, Shelly Broetzman and her son, Nicholas, and English Darby; one sister, Delores Broetzman of Oconto Falls; one brother, Jack (Betty) Tessier of Lisle, IL.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery where his final interment will take place.
