Tillie J. Raatz, 85, Gillett, died Monday, January 11, 1999. She was born September 25, 1913, at Oconto Falls, to the late Fred and Amanda (Schielke) Schultz. On August 30, 1933, Tillie married Gustav C. Raatz. He preceded here in death January 23, 1988. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Gillett, and the ELCA-Women Organization. She was also a member of the church Visitation Singers and member of the Homemakers Club in the Gillett area. Tillie was a well seamstress and all avid gardener.

Survivors indlude, two daugters and sons-in-law, Bette and Edward Malinowski, Florence; Darlene and Robert Loll, Marinette; one son and daughter- in-law, Met and,Sharon, Gillett; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Sophie Schultz, Waupun; Ted and Terri Schultz, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Tillie was also preceded In death by four brothers, Fred, Paul, Arnold and Adolph Schultz.

Friends called at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 16, 1999 at St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis N. Nelson officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
