A long illm]ness was terminated for Timothy Murphy 78, who died at his home on Adams St , Oconto Falls early Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs Murphy had lived in the city for the past ten years, moving in from Town of Morgan where they had operated a farm for thirty-five years.

He was born August 4th, 1872 in Manitowoc County and married to Miss Mary Donoghue at Charlestown, Wis. on the 26th of October 1897. The celebrated their golden wedding a few years ago.

Survivors are his wife and seven children, Pearl, Mrs C Greniire, Chicago; Verna, Mrs. Lester McDermid and Edward of Morgan; Margaret, Mrs. Ervin Hampel of Aburr, California; Leo of Grass Valley, California; Clifford and Frances of Oconto Falls. A brother Peter resides in Saskatchewan, Canada, and he is further survived by eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The remains have been taken to the O'Neill Funeral Home and tentative plans are that rites will be held Friday morning at St. Anthony Catholic church, the Rev. Francis Francart officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.

Friends of the Murphy family are expressing sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
