We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother Theresa M.
(Kramer) Severa, aged 96, on June 11, 2016. She died peacefully at home
surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Lena, WI on December 26, 1919 to
Paul and Josephine (Matuzeski) Kramer. She was a lifetime resident of the
area and an active member of the community. Theresa owned and operated a
dairy farm in Kelly Lake, WI as well as being a cook at the Round Roof.
After moving to Green Bay, WI in 1966, Theresa worked as a cook and waitress
at several area restaurants, including Schultzie's Restaurant on Main
Street. She successfully opened Theresa's Restaurant and Pancake House,
Green Bay, WI in 1972 and operated it until 1979. After retiring from the
restaurant industry, she volunteered at The Salvation Army for 8+ years and
Paul's Pantry for over 21 years. Theresa had a tremendous spirit that was
uplifting and made many friends throughout her life. She loved spending time
with family, baking goodies, visiting thrift stores, making pickles, doing
Search A Word puzzles and playing bingo.
Theresa is survived by 4 of her children, Jerry (Lori) Severa, Green Bay,
Ken (Brenda) Severa, Green Bay, Jan (Al) Ambrosius, De Pere, and Mary Jo
(Randy) Albrecht, Bokeelia, FL., 9 grandchildren, Leslie (Herco)

Brian (Amy) Severa, Appleton, Eric (Penny) Severa, Appleton, Lee (Kristina)
Ambrosius, De Pere, Dawn Ambrosius, De Pere, Sarah (Scott) Moore, Green Bay,
Sara Erickson, Phelps, WI and Douglas (Kate) Albrecht, Hillsborough NC, 17
great grandchildren, Cynthia (Leslie), Drew, Max (Kevin), Adam, Kyle
(Brian), Jessica, Emily, Dylan (Eric), Isaac, Amber, Chloe (Lee), William,
Carson, McKenzie (Sarah), Brittney, Wyatt, Willard (Sara), her sisters Manny
Kobes, Green Bay, Mickey Wesling, Milwaukee, Cherry (Chuck) Kroeger,
Saukville, WI and Audrey Piper, Oconto Falls, her special niece Lala Hansen,
Milwaukee and her special nephew Bill (Ann) Redding, Sarasota, FL, numerous
nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. She is preceded in death
by her son James, her mother, father, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Family and
friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. 10th St, De Pere, WI on
Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 3-7. Service will follow at 7:00 pm Tuesday at
the funeral home.
