Denny, Terry Lee
Terry Lee Denny, 69, Oconto, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2,
2012, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. Terry was born Feb. 18,
1943, in Oconto, to the late DeCarlo and Susan (Lipp) Denny.
Terry married Dianne Magiary on Oct. 6, 1962. She preceded
him in death on April 20, 2007. Terry and Dianne lived in
Oconto their entire lives. They raised three children. Most
of Terry's life he was a self-employed Fish Salesman. He
traveled to surrounding states selling frozen fish. He had
many experiences while fish peddling and at times he
employed helpers who would assist him in his travels. He
very much enjoyed their company. Al Alferdson, Floyd Stich
and Ernie Boucher. In his later life Terry worked at
Larson's Food and then retired from Oneida Casino, where he
was a Custodian. In Terry and Dianne's younger years they
enjoyed going on vacations with friends, house card parties,
and family trips. Terry had many friends from French Town
and often hung out on the French Town Bridge. Terry had many
tavern buddies; he enjoyed beer and shaking dice. Terry
loved to hunt squirrels, rabbits and frogs. He raised
beagles. Terry was proud to be a great basketball player in
his school years. In the later years Terry loved to gamble
while Dianne played bingo. Terry loved to buy his children
new bikes and Christmas presents. At Christmas time he could
never keep the gifts till Christmas day, he would be so
excited he couldn't keep the secret and he gave the gifts
two weeks before Christmas. Dianne was the love of Terry's
life. In their early years she took care of him and in the
last years of Dianne's life he took care of her until she
passed away in 2007. In the last months of his life he
wished to be by her side.
