Theodore J. Wisniewski, Mountain, died on Sunday, March 21, 1999 at Oconto Falls Memorial Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was formerly a resident of Greenfield, Wis. Who had retired to Chute Lake in Mountain in 1978.
He was born in Milwaukee and graduated from South Division High School. After serving in the US. Marine Corps during World War II, he worked as a welder at Allis Calmers. At the time, he began Milwaukee Shade Company. He was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hales Corners and of St. John the Evangelist Church in Greenfield, as well as the West Allis Council #3095 of the Knights of Columbus.
His wife, Elizabeth (nee:Beaudry), survives him after 52 years of marriage. They were married on Feb. 1, 1947.
He is also survived by their six children, Frances (Fred) Meyer of Waukesha, Gerald (Luda) of Nashotah, Arthur (Sue) of Dousman, Terese (Mike) Gregoric of Merton, Janis (Steve) Edwards of Nashotah and Carl of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He will also be dearly missed by their 11 grandchildren. One of eight children born to the late John and Sophie Wisniewski, he is survived by six brothers and sisters, Jean Jean Beaudry of West Allis, Michael (Ann) of West Milwaukee, Carl (Dorothy) of Hales Corners, Joan (William) Zahn of Milwaukee, Patricia (Joseph) Waletzko of Greendale and Christine (Wallace) Luck of Muskego; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard.
Visitation and the Funeral Mass were held Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 South Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until the Mass at 7m p.m. Interment was at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery.
