"Timothy E. Calligan, 93, an old resident and pioneer of this city, passed away Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock of causes incident to old age.
"Mr. Calligan was born in Machiaspost(sic), Me., March 30, 1849 and came here together with the rest of the family in the early sixties, when a boy of seventeen.
"Funeral services were held at the Gallagher Funeral Home at two o'clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. Thomas Smart officiating, with interment at Evergreen cemetery.
"He is survived by nieces and nephews in the East, Rockford, Ill., Chicago, Milwaukee and Miss Maude Calligan, the only relative living here in the city. He was a brother of the last Mrs. Olive Ryan of Milwaukee who passed away a year ago."
