Dead At 75

A lifetime resident of Oconto County, Mrs. Thora Peterson, 75, of Rt. 2, Suring, died Monday at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. Death followed a short illness.

The former Thora Christensen was born April 29, 1901, at Gillett. She was married to James Peterson on Feb. 9, 1935. He died in 1975. The couple farmed and operated a Greenhouse in the Town of Bagley for more than 10 years.

Survivors include three brothers, Arthur Christensen of Suring, Wally of Oconto Falls. Edmond of Clintonville; two sisters, Miss Eleanor Christensen of Suring and Mrs. Michael Fagen of Rockford, Ill. Friends called at the Soulek funeral home at Suring on Wednesday. Final rites held today at11 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. The Rev. Franklyn Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in Frostville Cemetery.
