Stanley SOBIESKI, 79, Abrams, died Friday morning, June 25, 1999, at Sharpe Care, Oconto Falls. The son of the late Michael and Anna (LOPATA) SOBIESKI was born July 30, 1919 in Abrams. He farmed in the town of Morgan for many years and had worked at Krause Dairy in Morgan. He was a concertina and accordion player and also played guitar.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Irene SOBIESKI, West Allis; Felix and Bernadine SOBIESKI, Pulaski; six sisters, Helen POPKA, Rosemont, MN; Mary DOMBROWSKI, Franklin; Irene KURTZ, Hartford; Laura WRIGHT, Endeavor; Regina BROWARSKI, Franklin; Ann ABRAMSKI, Franklin; three sisters-in-law, Irene, Julie and Dorothey SOBIESKI; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Edward and Casimer SOBIESKI; one sister and brother-in-law, Stella and Richard MONTEY; one sister-in-law, Theresa SOBIESKI; seven brothers-in-law, Sylvester POPKA, Francis DOMBROWSKI, Joe LISOCKI, John KURTZ, Clair WRIGHT, Stephen BROWARSKI, Raymond ABRAMSKI.

Friends called at Marnocha funeral Home, Pulaski, where a parish wake service was held. Funeral Mass was conducted 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Cantius Church, Sobieski. Fr. Thaddeus Koszarek officiated with burial in the parish cemetery.
