.MRS. GEORGE BOWMAN DIES HERE FRIDAY.

.  Mrs. George Bowman, a resident of Oconto County all her life, died at the local hospital Friday morning at five o'clock.  Mrs. Bowman was operated upon for gall trouble on Thursday but was unable to withstand the operation.  She was forty-four years old at the time of her death.

  Stella Powell was born July 22, 1881 in the town of Pensaukee.  In 1905 she was married to George Bowman, and moved to their farm in the town of Pensaukee.

  Deceased is survive by her husband, two sons, Norman and Robert, and two daughters, Mary and Ruby all at home.  She is also survived by her aged father, George Powell of the town of Pensaukee, and one sister Miss Dolly Powell, also of the town of Pensaukee.

  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Brookside M. E. Church.  Rev. C. E. Lease officiating.  Burial was in the Brookside cemetery.  The pallbearers were Frank Bundy, William Hartley, Frand Schroeder, Henry Touschelt, Orve Westcott and D. Moody.
