Susanna La Budda La Brosse

Mrs. Susanna La Budda La Brosse, 93, Oconto Falls, Former
Krakow resident, died Monday morning, December 11, 1978 at an Oconto Falls
nursing home. Mrs. La Brosse was the daughter of Albert and Agusta Kolka
La Budda. She was born August 9, 1885. On June 12, 1914, she married William
Albert La Brosse I. They farmed in the town of Morgan for many years. In
later years, after their children were born, they moved to Milwaukee where
Mrs. La Brosse stayed until the death of her husband on April 29, 1947.
Then she returned to Krakow, Wisconsin where she lived with her three sisters,
Agusta, Gertrude and Pauline La Budda. In her earlier years, Mrs. La Brosse
was a cook at the white house for President Woodrow Wilson. Survivors are
four sons, William II and Anthony, both of Oconto Falls; Lawrence of Krakow;
John of West Allis; Mrs. Ralph (Martha) Anderson of Nekoosa; Mrs. Edward
(Marguerite) Janocyk and Mrs. Theresa Rust, both of Milwaukee. She was
preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Susanna)
Benson, three grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Gertrude and
Martha La Budda. Final rites will be conducted Wednesday, December 13,
at 10a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Krakow, with the Rev. Mark Szych
Officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
