Selma Kamke Johnson, age 91, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2000 at Pulaski. Selma was born March 31, 1909, to the late William and Albertine (Vallesky) Kamke in the Town of Spruce, Oconto County. In 1930, she married Martin Johnson in Oconto County. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1985. Selma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Pulaski. She was a member of the Homemakers Club of Shawano County and a member of the Ladies Aid. She played organ for 10 years at Spruce and taught Sunday School for 30 years. She is survived by; two sons, Martin (Donna) Johnson of Black Creek, Arlin (Delores) Johnson of Green BAy; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and August Kamke. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, at 11 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski with the Rev. Steven Kline officiating.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of services. Burial will be on Wednesday at Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil is assisting the family.
