Mr. Stanley G. McFadden, 71, 110 Fifth Street, Oconto was received into the Lord's company Monday morning, November 22, 1999 at, St. Vincent Hospital Green Bay. Stanley, was born February 16, 1928 at Oconto, the son of the late Violet (Baldwin) and Arthur "Brownie" McFadden. He faithfully served his country during World War II. On January 13, 1951, Stanley was united in marriage to the former Marjorie Ahrens at the Oconto United Methodist Church where he currently is a member. He was employed by Elliott Glove for over 40 years, retiring in 1991. He was also a member of the Amvets Post, Oconto. Stanley very much loved his family. He greatly enjoyed playing cards as well as fishing and watching the Packers.

He leaves behind to mourn his absence his loving wife Marjorie; two sons, Thomas (Rose) and Richard (Lynne), Oconto; four daughters, Linda (Raymond) Frewerd, Violet (Gary) Hornick, Donna (Jeffrey) Heroux, Carol (special friend Todd Zeichert) all of Oconto; three brothers, Robert, Sr. (Donna), Oconto; David, Panarama City, CA, and John (Yvonne), Green Bay; five sisters, Wilhelmina Malloy, Walkill, NY; Florence Hayes, Eleanor (Terrence) Bendt, and Darlene (George) Skarban, a Oconto; Estella (Regis) Gentz, Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren, Steven Jennifer McFadden, Matt & Mitchell McFadden, Michelle (Joe) Garcia; Glenn & Meghan (Jo) Hernick; Andrew (Jackie) Heroux; Jason Lipp, Wilhelm, Edward, Tiffany Zeichert; nieces and nephews.

Stanley was preceded in death by two brothers William and James and by a granddaughter Tasha Frewerd. The family received relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago-St., Oconto from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 1999 and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 27, 1999 at the Oconto United Methodist Church. Amvets service 7:00 p.m. Friday. Service of Christian Burial was at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church. The Rev. Frederik W. Schulz officiated. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Military rites to followed.
