She died Saturday, May 19 at Bayshore Pines in Oconto.
The former Shirley Graham was born Sept. 24, 1924 at County Line to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Marie) Graham. On June 1, 1946 she married Jack Karban, Jr. at Oconto. The couple operated Karban Contractors for many years. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1946. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and former member of the Oconto Woman's Club and Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Jack (Betty) Karban III of Little Suamico, Dr. Matthew (Joyce) Karban of Oconto; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Julaine) Medley of Oconto; a sister,
Mrs. Mahlon "Koke" (Betty) Retzlaff of Oconto; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Graham.
