Courchaine, Scott
Scott Courchaine, 48, Cecil, died Saturday evening, September 22, 2012 as
the result injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born March
15, 1964 in Oconto Falls to Kenneth and Bernice (Young) Courchaine. Scott
grew up in rural Gillett where he attended public schools, graduating from
Gillett High School with the class of 1982. He lived all of his life in the
Cecil area where he once farmed and had a roof and siding business. Scott
later became an owner/operator semi-truck driver and most recently, was
driving for Klemm Tank Lines in Green Bay. He enjoyed hunting, fishing,
playing pool and cards and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his
buddies.
Survivors are his mother, Bernice Courchaine, Gillett; three sisters, Susan
(Tom) Schmitt, Suring; Sandy (Jim) Siegel, Gillett; Sherry (Dave) Fellenz,
Oconto Falls; his nieces and nephews, Randy Christensen, Natasha Siegel,
Curt and Kenndy Schmitt, Jordon and Tyler Fellenz; great nieces and nephew,
Kalli, Nathan and Hailey Christensen; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, his son Tony Courchaine on
September 2, 2007, his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Lucille
Courchaine and maternal grandparents, Ray and Alice Young.
Visitation will be held after 10am Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Jones
Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Funeral services
will be held 1pm Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. Joel Sember
officiating. Burial will follow in Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett.
