She was born on August 1, 1933, in Rhinelander to Frances (Schmid) and the late Claude Babino. On June 28, 1952, she married Edward Windorff in Rhinelander. Since retirement, she and Edward have resided in Wabeno and Sierra Vista, AZ. Shirley's greatest joy in life was enjoying her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Edward; three children arid their spouses, Michael and Darla Windorff Mitchell and Kathy Windorff, and Tonia and. Dennis Kielpikowski, all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; her mother, Frances Babino, Rhinelander two brothers, Thomas Babino, Sheboygan, and James Babino, Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Betty Combs and Rose (Pat) Gilley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Babino; two infant sisters, Mary Ellen and Kay Frances; a daughter-in-law, Rose, Windorff a granddaughter, Tara Windorff, and one niece, Bonnie Babino.
Friends may call after 4 p. m. Wednesday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., Green Bay where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 p. m. with the Rev. Willard Van De Loo officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a meniorial has been established.
