Eunice Bassine SIMONO

Eunice M. Simono, 89, 115 Maple Lane, Coleman, died Sept. 13, 1999 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette.

The daughter of Frank and Lucy (Guillette) Bassine was born Sept. 6, 1910 at Brussels. Eunice married Aelred J. Simono on June 26, 1928 at St. John Catholic Church, Coleman. Eunice was employed as a food-server for the District of Coleman School for many years. Her life was totally dedicated first to her God, second her family and friends. She proved this over and over many, many times. Aelred preceded her in death in 1961. Eunice was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman.

Survivors include one son and six daughters, Richard and Jackie Simono of Hayward, Lee and William Hein of DePere, Lucille and Arnold Swenty of Coleman, Carla Routhieaux of Fremont, Ohio; Marie and Wayne Johnson of Green Bay, Simone and Glen Woulf of Coleman, and Patricia and Keith Young of Rhinelander; 35 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia and Richard Hooker of Sarasota, FL and Mrs. Viola Adams of DePere; her cousin, Eunice Piere of CA, and her very special friend, Harriet Lerich of Coleman, and numerous other friends who were always in communication with Eunice.

Charapata Funeral Home in Coleman. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman. Rev. John Hephner officiated with burial in St. John Catholic Cemetary, Coleman.

Pallbearers; Mark Simono, Mike Hein, Scott Swenty, Bruce Routhieaux, Tom Johnson, Todd Woulf and Tyler Young.
