Shirley enjoyed many things in life. She enjoyed arts and crafts, embroidering, and cross-stitching. Her children and her grandchildren have many of her creations that she had done over the years and will always be cherished. Among those gifts of love that she made are the Christmas stockings that all her children and grandchildren will have out this season. Shirley was also a lifelong practical joker and a caregiver. After her husband died, she moved to Townsend where she made many friends. She shot pool in a pool league, and managed to earn many championship trophies. She also worked at Lamplighter Lounge and at the Lakewood Motel. She even lent a hand to Chris and Dave, her daughter and son-in-law, when they bought Club 32 in Townsend, to help them get a good start.
