She was born Aug 23, 1919 in Abrams to the late Windfield E. and Mary Louise (Betts) Rowell. On Jan 22, 1944, she married Frederick Wendt. Ruby loved animals and had been employed as a dog groomer. She enjoyed cooking and sewing but most importantly she loved her family, especially her grenddaughter, Elizabeth Jolly.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick C Wendt; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Jolly, Abrams; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Jolly; two sisters and brother-in-law. Marion and John Molik, Green Bay; Grace and Joseph Detiege, Green Bay; a brother-in-law and his wife, Karl and Delores Wendt, Corunna, MI; nieces and nephews; and her dog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Senath Jane Gohe, Dorothy Laar, Mary Guys, and Gladys Rowell.
