Roger T. Schingeck, 61, 140 Farnsworth, Oconto died unexpectedly, October 10, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.

Roger was born July 19, 1939 at Marinette to the late Emil and Emma (Blahnik) Schingeck. He married Roxanne Kapica April 20, 1963. Roger worked at Stock Lumber Co., Oconto for over 40 years.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

Roger loved many things, the most important was his wife Roxanne. He also loved scratch of cards, animals, and trains, riding on them and looking at them.

He is survived by his wife Roxanne; four brothers, Leonard (Nancy), Milwaukee; Donald (Irene), Wausaukee; Richard and Arnold of Marinette; three sisters, Doris (George) Laitinen, Stephenson, MI; Marjorie (Ray) Wyman, Shawano; Gladys (Nail) Uhl, Coleman; many nieces and nephews; special friends Jim Manzetti and family and Matt Karban and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ken and Ralph.

Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral some, Oconto. A parish wake service and a Knights of Columbus Rosary was held. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Friday, October 13 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Stephenson, MI with Rev. Raymond Hoefgen officiating. Burial at Stephenson Township Cemetery.
