Funeral Will Be Held On Saturday For Mrs. Schlader
After an illness, due to complications of three and on-half months, Mrs.
Rose Schlader, 79, passed away at her home, 122 Fourth street, at 1:10
Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Mark's
Episcopal Church with the Rev. Fr. H.G. Kappes officiating. Burial will be
in the Oconto Evergreen cemetery.
Rose Mraz was born Sept. 6, 1856 in Bohemia. She has been a resident of
Oconto since 1885. Her husband, James Schlader, to whom she was married in
1879, preceded her in death four years ago.
Survivors are three sons, Charles and Joseph of Green Bay and William of
Oconto; and four daughters, Mrs. Peter Timmerman and Mrs. Al. Turek, both
of Green Bay, and the Misses Emma and Rose Schlader, both of Oconto; 17

Many at Funeral of Mrs. R. Schlader
Many out-of-town people attended the funeral of Mrs. Rose Schlader last
Saturday morning. Services were held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the
Rev. Fr. H.G. Kappes officiating. The following attended: Mr. and Mrs.
Peter Timmerman and Family, Mr. and Mrs. Al Turek and Family, Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Schlader and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schlader and family, Mrs.
Jack Turek, Mrs. Frank Turek, Mrs. Frank Mraz, John Rose and daughter
Betty, Mrs. Mae McCallister, Miss Helen Hall, Mrs. Norman Kron, Mrs.
Clark, Mrs. McFaile, Mrs. Gordon Feldhausen, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen and
Mr. and Mrs. E. Popplehann, all of Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schlader of
Mauston, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Mraz and son, Chester, and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Podestat of Coleman and Mrs. Thurston of Sheboygan.
The pallbearers were George Schlegel, Joseph Kirt, Joseph and Frank
Mlnarik, Charles and Louis Grunert. Four grandchildren, Ruth and Lorraine
Schlader, Eunice Timmerman and Geraldine Turek, were flower girls.
