The son of Joseph and Bessie Zanger St. Louis was born April 28, 1923 at Kelly Brook. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy. Bob owned and operated a filling station in Suring, worked for Aring Equipment of Green Bay, was employed by the Highway Department, and then for Dufek Implement of Lena until his retirement. Following retirement he worked doing varioius jobs for people at Kelly Lake.
Surviving are his wife, Helen St. Louis; his mother, Bessie St. Louis, of Kelly Lake; three sons, Wayne Jean St. Louis, of Lena, David St. Louis, of Kelly Lake, and Greg Chris St. Louis, of Kelly Lake; four grandchildren; two sisters, Delores Donal) Krull, of Benton, WI and Janice LeRoy Miller, of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father, six brothers, Jim, Leland, Clyde, Alton, Dan, and Raymond 'Popeye'.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeal home. Rev. Laverne Ulrichsen officiated with burial in Hickory Hills Cemetery, Town of Maple Valley. A memorial fund has been established in his memory.
