Rose June Miller, 87, Menominee, MI, a resident of Menominee Care Center for two years, died Sunday, September 24, 2000 at Bay Area Medical Center.

The former Rose Noha was born June 9, 1913 in Menominee. She married Albert Miller in 1931; he preceded her in death in 1985. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, an active member of the Senior Center in Menominee and a former member of Bohemian Hall. She worked at Schloegel's Restaurant in Marinette.

Rose is survived by three daughters, Leona (Leo) Yelle of Green Bay; Marjorie "Marj" (Thomas) Wentworth of Manitowoc and Betty (Ronald) Poradek of Stephenson; one son, Alfred (Elaine) Miller of Green Bay; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2000 at 6 p.m. at Cadieu Funeral Home, Menominee. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service. The Rev. Phil Towsley will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.

A memorial fund has been established.
