Roy McAllister Succumbs to Heart Attack;
Rites Friday

Funeral Services will be conducted from the MacQueen Funeral Chapel here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Roy McAllister, 59, former Oconto County resident, who dropped dead in the woods near Cavour, Wis. Tuesday shortly before noon.

Mr. McAllister had been a lifelong resident of Oconto County and operated a farm near Stiles until 1930 when he moved to Newald. He was employed by the Consolidated Pulp and Paper Company at the time of his death.

The deceased was born in the town of Stiles July 4, 1888. His wife, nee, Gertrude McIver proceeded him in death 14 years ago. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Crosby (Margaret) Whitcomb, Abrams; Mrs. Claude (Mildred) Van Hefty, Oconto; Mrs. Ralph (Florence) Peachman, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Joseph (Joyce) Pazakowski, Milwaukee; Elizabeth, Two Rivers; four sons, Robert Oconto; Sgt. Leigh, Fort Greeley, Alaska; John, Iron River, and Millard, Watersmeet; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. May Devereaux, Green Bay; Mrs. John (Ida) Phillips, Green Bay; Mrs. Grover (Beth) Pamperin, Duck Creek; four brothers, Angus, LaGrange, Oregon; Frank, Stiles; Thomas, Green Bay; and Edwin, Indianapolis.

Rev. Thomas Smart of the Oconto Presbyterian church will officiate at Friday's services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
