He was born May 12, 1915 in Little River, WI, son of Michael and Mary (Artz) Roffers. Roy married Katherine Pillsbury June 11, 1938 in Oconto, WI. He was employed at A.O. Smith Company, Milwaukee for 34 years before his retirement in 1975 as a supervisor. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Menomonee Falls.
Roy is survived by his wife, Katherine; his daughter, Judith Zaretzke, Neenah; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence (Al) Johnson, Shawano.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 11, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 666 Division St., Neenah. Interment in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Menomonee Falls. Visitation was at Kessler Funeral Home, Neenah.
