He died Sunday, May 20 at New Care Convalescent Center.
Born Jan. 13, 1912 in Armstrong Creek, he married the former Hazel Boesen on April 21, 1939 in Menominee. The couple resided in Middle Inlet where they logged and he was employed by the Marinette Park System. He also worked with the Civil Conservation Corp.
Survivors include two sons, Jack (Louann) Pomeroy, Edward (Janice) Pomeroy, both of Middle Inlet; two daughters, Judy Smith of Sturgeon Bay, Mrs. Carl (Linda) Gullicksen of Peshtigo; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Joyce) of Menomonee Falls; a sister-in-law, Donna Pomeroy of Wallace; and a brother-in-law, John Boshan of Wausaukee.
He was preceded in death by his wife on March 13, 1979; three brothers and three sisters.
